On April 15, on the roads of regional significance Republic introduced a temporary restriction of movement for heavy trucks

Today in the Republican agency for press and mass communications held a briefing online dedicated to the introduction of temporary restrictions of movement of vehicles on public roads in 2015.

Deputy Minister of Transport and Road Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan Artem Chukin temporary restriction of movement of vehicles engaged in the transport of heavy goods by road of regional significance, is introduced for the period from 15 April to 14 May. It does not prohibit the movement on the roads, but only limit the maximum permissible axle loads of vehicles carrying loads.

Introduction of spring restrictions aimed at preventing reduce the carrying capacity of the structural elements of the road caused by their waterlogging. Restrictions are imposed annually since mass snowmelt occurs waterlogging soil mound.

The movement of heavy vehicles during the period of restrictions can only by special permission. Prerequisite obtain such permission is a pre-payment is caused by excess vehicle damage.
