SSC KAMA Tires Have Been 5 Years on the Market

Five years ago, the Nizhnekamsk solid steel cord tire factory produced the first tires of the commercial solid steel cord design. Over the years, the Company produced 2.5 million solid steel cord tires.

OOO "Nizhnekamsk solid steel cord tire factory" is a present-day production facility built with application of international best practices and technologies for  production of solid steel cord tires. The factory's design capacity is 1.2 million tires per year. At present the factory produce 57 sizes of solid steel cord tires for all types of trucks, buses and semitrailers with 27 of them produced under the off-take system for the German company, including the ones of a premium brand. SSC KAMA tires are delivered to "KAMAZ", "NEFAZ" and "MZ Tonar", they are used by large transport companies of Russia: Celta (Magnet), Mosgortrans and are exported to 31 countries of the world.

With regard to durability and economy properties, SSC KAMA tires are a technologically new product on the Russian market corresponding to the latest domestic and foreign standards and they are not any inferior in quality versus the similar tires of global brands.

Compared with conventional combined tires the special design of SSC KAMA tires allows saving up to 8% of fuel, increasing the transport carrying capacity  up to 8%, increasing endurance, improving speed characteristics and extending the service life. The mileage demonstrated by SSC tires today comes to 250 thousand km. The design of the KAMA SSC tires originally incorporates the possibility of retreading, which increases the service life of the tire up to 500 thousand km.

The quality of the SSC KAMA tires has been confirmed by victories in such contests as "Best Goods and Services of the Republic of Tatarstan" and "100 best goods of Russia".

OOO "KaMaRetread" solid steel cord tires recovery facility was commissioned in 2015 within the Nizhnekamsk tire complex of JSC TATNEFT. The production facility was established jointly with Marangoni S.p.A. Italian Company, which is one of the world leaders in the tires' retreading and production of pre-vulcanized tire treads.
