Environmental Rally Vehicles Will Be Refueled at TATNEFT's Filling Stations

It is planned that retro, hybrid and electric vehicles of the fifth environmental rally "From the Past to the Future" will be refueled at the TATNEFT filling stations.

The ecological automobile rally will start at 12 a.m. on June 4, 2015 near the monument to Yuri Dolgoruky at Tverskaya Square in Moscow.

As part of the event there will be an exhibition of unusual experimental hybrid and electric drive vehicles. Among the exhibits there will be the first electric cars: Waverley manufactured in 1913 and Milburn manufactured in 1922.

The rally is organized by the Rally Club of classic cars with the support of the Moscow Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection together with OOO "Tatneft - AZS-Zapad" as the General Sponsor.

Within three days, about 30 crews will travel across Moscow, Yaroslavl and Vladimir regions and visit the Golden Ring cities: Pereslavl, Rostov Velikii, Yaroslavl and Suzdal. The route does not run directly from city to city. The participants will have to drive by the road map, comply with the strict time limits on certain sections of the route and carry out the assignments of professional referees.

At the time of the rally crews' arrival the central squares of the cities will be turned into open-air exhibitions. Residents will have the opportunity to be acquainted with the automobile's history: legendary retro cars and the latest hybrid and electric vehicles; learn how they are designed and how they care about the environment.

The highlight of the rally will be celebration of the Environmentalist Day. The meeting will be held at 10:00 on June 5 in Yaroslavl during the city festival with the car exhibition and sporting events with the participants of the rally. The Moscow representatives of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment will visit the Yaroslavl zoo to see the Amur tiger, which was donated to the city in 2012.

The rally finish and winners awarding will take place in the territory of the landscape park "Teply Stan" in Moscow on June 6.

All the way throughout the rally "From the Past to the Future" the cars will be refueled at the TATNEFT's filling stations and the drivers will be able to have lunch in the cafes there.
