First Deputy Minister of Transport and Roads RT Insaf Khayrullin met with the Deputy Mayor of the city of Semey Nurbol Nurgaliyev, head of transport and highways of the East Kazakhstan region Maxut Isahov to discuss the creation and development of logistics centers in Kazakhstan and Tatarstan yesterday.
Representatives of the Kazakh delegation presented the project of establishing a transport and logistics hub in the city of Semey (East Kazakhstan region). Now the project is in the development stage of a feasibility study. The guests said that the main purpose of the visit is to encourage investment in this project, as well as to study the experience of Tatarstan in the creation of a logistics center.
In turn Insaf Khayrullin told about the implementation of the project in Tatarstan "Creating inter-regional multi-modal logistics center." He said, that the center will be an integral part of the expansion of trade and transport links between Russia and Kazakhstan.
