Today Kazan opened a new transport interchange node Kazan-2

August 5, in Kazan, the ceremony of opening a second station on the street Thieves. At the station, passenger revolt built brand new facility for Tatarstan - transport interchange node, which was named "Kazan-2." Here combined flows of railway transport - suburban and long-distance, intercity buses, city transport. Next year will be operational metro station, combined with the railway station.
The passenger terminal transport interchange node Kazan-2 with a total area 7890 square meter meets all modern safety and comfort of passengers. The passengers waiting room for 600 people, equipped with electronic information displays, ticket hall, storage, registration and self-service terminals, a café, toilets, first-aid and other CCTV and entrance metal detector designed to prevent accidents. Hall bus designed for 75 passengers.
Through Kazan-2 in the new timetable of the next 11 transit passenger long-distance trains, and 7 trains towards Arsk - Green Dol. A day on average 520 passengers are served by long-distance trains and 550 commuters.
